Experience
I began teaching when I was 16. I spent a summer in Bolivia teaching English. I caught the bug, and have been teaching ever since. When I was an undergraduate I owned my own tutoring business with three employees. We tutored college level statistics, and I also ran a home school program for a high school student who was unable to attend public school due to his behavior problems. After I graduated college I joined Teach for America and taught high school in Baltimore. I have made a career switch and am now back in the Boston area attending Bentley University. I am pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, but I love to tutor while I am in school because it gives me a great opportunity to do something that I really enjoy and find very rewarding. My favorite topics to tutor are Math and SAT/GRE prep

Hobbies
I am a 29 year old former teacher originally from the Boston area . I am exceptionally talented at motivating students and making the material relevant and accessible. I work with students of all abilities, from the student that is struggling to pass to the student who wants to move their grade from a B to an A. I have extensive experience working with students with behavioral challenges. I joke that it is because I have as much energy as they do, I have just found a way to channel it that works for me. I am competing in a triathlon in June and running the Baltimore marathon for charity in October.
