I have been tutoring this last year and have worked with my students in test preparation and Chemistry. I attended Wellesley College and Northeastern University, and I believe my liberal arts background has prepared me to tutor students in a wide range of subjects. I minored in Chemistry at Wellesley, and would like to teach Chemistry in high school in the future. I identify with my students because it hasn't been that long since I was in their shoes taking tests and struggling with difficult subject matter. I have a passion for helping students improve their performance in the classroom and on tests. I tutor in the areas of Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, Russian, History, and Science. I also do test preparation for the SAT and ACT. I enjoy working with students one on one and use our interaction and conversations to build my understanding of their learning needs.
